I always used the jewelry cleaner that is easily available in any departmental stores until my cousin told me about using toothpaste. It works really well. All you need to do is get a cheap soft toothbrush and use a little of any kind of toothpaste. It will shine beautifully.

Let me share a method. First wet your jewelry and scrub tooth paste on them with your fingers for like 30 seconds. After that you can stop and wash them off and there you go. It makes your jewelry just sparkle!

To maintain your jewelry's sparkle, try to clean your jewelry on a regular basis. A simple way to clean your white gold jewelry is to soak it in warm water mixed with a few drops of ammonia. Use of a toothbrush for more extensive cleaning. After cleaning and rinsing, dry and polish with a soft cloth.

They say vinegar does the job, however I once tried it, but didn't like the result at all. So I recommend regular cleaning with soap and water.
